The Cocoa Beach Art Show is a Thanksgiving weekend fixture here on Florida’s Space Coast. Thanksgiving weekend kicks off with the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot, followed by the Friday night street party opening the show for the weekend. The Art Show will open on Saturday, November 24th and continue through Sunday, November 25th from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Live music from local musicians, over 150 artists, food trucks, and other vendors will be available throughout the festival.

ArtWorks of Eau Gallie returns for another year on Brevard’s Space Coast. The festival is a “plein air” art show, which means “in the open air”. Established in 1966,Artworks emphasizes the local artists and focuses on the creative process. A unique feature of the show is that the artists are encouraged to demonstrate their craft alongside their displays, with painting, drawing, or other demonstrations taking place throughout the day. This year, Artworks will take place on November 17th & 18th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day. Live music, food vendors, and more will be available at the show each day as well.
Highland Avenue in Downtown Melbourne and the Eau Gallie Arts District are well known for some of Brevard’s top artists. The area is also home to the Foosaner Art Museum and the Strawbridge Art League. Both organizations promote the development of Brevard’s art community.

The Fall Art and Craft Fair in Cocoa Village is an event celebrated every year here on the Space Coast that celebrates and exhibits some of our local talent here in Brevard. For 36 years, the Cocoa Village community has been celebrating the local creative talent that keeps the culture of Brevard county flourishing and thriving. Held October 20th through the 21st, visiting the village at this time of the year is a great feeling and atmosphere. This fair is held on the streets of Cocoa Village which will remain closed for the weekend long occasion. Take a walk along the art lined streets and and view countless art exhibition booths and wonderful sights that line the park on the Banana River. Featuring lively street entertainment and bands like The Gemini Band, a beer garden, kid zones, and unique dining experiences, there is always something to enjoy for the whole family. This event is totally child and pet friendly so bring everyone! Delicious food vendors also station themselves at this event, and there is free admission and free parking. It’s that time of the year again for Cocoa Beach’s 52nd Annual Our Saviour’s Fair! Join the Our Saviours Catholic Church in their biggest fundraiser for the school and enjoy festival games, fun rides, thrift shopping, and bingo, along with a $10,000 raffle on Sunday the 21th at 8pm. The Our Saviours Fair has a huge selection of delicious food vendors, including the famous funnel cakes that everybody loves. There is a great selection of fun fair games if you’re in the mood to get lucky and win a prize, along with bingo to win some quick cash. Wristbands for unlimited rides are available each night for $21. The Our Saviours Church is located at 5301 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
The 5th annual Salty Sweet Pro/Am returns to Cocoa Beach! The Salty Sweet competitionis one of the largest women’s surf events in the country with pro and amateur divisions. Many of the competitors began surfing at young ages here on Florida’s Space Coast. Early on, the event earned Eastern Surf Magazine’s “Best New Contest” award. This year, the competition is sponsored by Florida’s Space Coast Office of Tourism through it’s Sports Marketing Program.
The Cocoa Beach Pier hosts the competition each year. Admission is free, with $20 parking available at the Pier. This year, the contest starts at 9am on Saturday, October 13 and concludes with finals and awards ceremony on Sunday, October 14. The weekend weather forecast is breezy with partly cloudy skies.
