The Cocoa Beach Art Show is a Thanksgiving weekend fixture here on Florida’s Space Coast. Thanksgiving weekend kicks off with the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot, followed by the Friday night street party opening the show for the weekend. The Art Show will open on Saturday, November 24th and continue through Sunday, November 25th from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Live music from local musicians, over 150 artists, food trucks, and other vendors will be available throughout the festival.

It’s that time of the year again for Cocoa Beach’s 52nd Annual Our Saviour’s Fair! Join the Our Saviours Catholic Church in their biggest fundraiser for the school and enjoy festival games, fun rides, thrift shopping, and bingo, along with a $10,000 raffle on Sunday the 21th at 8pm. The Our Saviours Fair has a huge selection of delicious food vendors, including the famous funnel cakes that everybody loves. There is a great selection of fun fair games if you’re in the mood to get lucky and win a prize, along with bingo to win some quick cash. Wristbands for unlimited rides are available each night for $21. The Our Saviours Church is located at 5301 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.
The 5th annual Salty Sweet Pro/Am returns to Cocoa Beach! The Salty Sweet competitionis one of the largest women’s surf events in the country with pro and amateur divisions. Many of the competitors began surfing at young ages here on Florida’s Space Coast. Early on, the event earned Eastern Surf Magazine’s “Best New Contest” award. This year, the competition is sponsored by Florida’s Space Coast Office of Tourism through it’s Sports Marketing Program.
The Cocoa Beach Pier hosts the competition each year. Admission is free, with $20 parking available at the Pier. This year, the contest starts at 9am on Saturday, October 13 and concludes with finals and awards ceremony on Sunday, October 14. The weekend weather forecast is breezy with partly cloudy skies.

Cocoa Beach will be lighting up this weekend for the annual Cocoa Beach Boat Parade. The parade will take place on December 9, and start just south of HWY 520 at 6:00p.m. Onlookers will find good viewing areas all along the Banana River, from HWY 520 to Minutemen Causeway; be sure to check out the Cocoa Beach Rotary Club’s map for detailed route information. Weekend temperatures are expected to drop as a cold front pushes through over the course of Friday night and Saturday morning. Saturday night should be clear, but strong winds and a low temp in the mid-40s will make for a chilly night.

The art show opens on November 25th at 9:00am and offers a wide variety of artists, live music, and food vendors. The weather forecast indicates rain and storms through Friday, clearing up and cooling off by Saturday with highs in the low 70s.
