The Cocoa Beach Art Show is a Thanksgiving weekend fixture here on Florida’s Space Coast. Thanksgiving weekend kicks off with the Cocoa Beach Turkey Trot, followed by the Friday night street party opening the show for the weekend. The Art Show will open on Saturday, November 24th and continue through Sunday, November 25th from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Live music from local musicians, over 150 artists, food trucks, and other vendors will be available throughout the festival.

ArtWorks of Eau Gallie returns for another year on Brevard’s Space Coast. The festival is a “plein air” art show, which means “in the open air”. Established in 1966,Artworks emphasizes the local artists and focuses on the creative process. A unique feature of the show is that the artists are encouraged to demonstrate their craft alongside their displays, with painting, drawing, or other demonstrations taking place throughout the day. This year, Artworks will take place on November 17th & 18th, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day. Live music, food vendors, and more will be available at the show each day as well.
Highland Avenue in Downtown Melbourne and the Eau Gallie Arts District are well known for some of Brevard’s top artists. The area is also home to the Foosaner Art Museum and the Strawbridge Art League. Both organizations promote the development of Brevard’s art community.

Artworks of Eau Gallie returns for the 21st Annual Fine Art Festival this weekend, November 18th & 19th. The festival opens Saturday at 10:00am along Highland Ave in the Eau Gallie Arts District. In addition to approximately 80 vendors and artists, there will also be live demonstrations, live music, a high school art exhibit, a hands on children’s area, a special ballet performance, and food vendors. Festival-goers will enjoy warm and mostly sunny weather this weekend, with cooler temperatures on Sunday.

This weekend, Cocoa Village will be hosting one of their four annual art and craft fairs in Historic Downtown. This year marks the 34th Fall Art & Craft Festival and will feature over 200 vendors. The festival will run from Saturday, October 17, through Sunday, October 18, and will open at 10 a.m. each day. Admission and parking are free, and visitors are welcome to bring their furry companions along while sampling street fares, admiring fine craftsmanship, and enjoying live entertainment in the lovely October weather. In addition to the Art and Craft Festival, Cocoa Village will also be hosting a Chili Cook-Off on Saturday in Riverfront Park, followed by the Halloween Pub Crawl.

This Saturday, the Art Gallery of Viera will be opening their annual photography show, “Exposure.” The show will feature local artists displaying work in multiple styles and subject matter. Saturday’s opening will give patrons the opportunity to meet the artists and members, feature a live demonstration, offer light refreshments, and a giveaway. The event is free of charge and open to all; the show will run through the end of July.
The Art Gallery of Viera features artists working in mediums ranging from traditional paintings, wood sculptures, and jewelry, to modern fiber art. The gallery also offers a number of classes in traditional mediums and modern crafts for children, teens, and adults.
