This Saturday, Port Canaveral will be hosting a walk for the cause to benefit the Space Coast Cancer Foundation. The Pink Ribbon Walk will take place at the Exploration Tower from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in The Cove at Port Canaveral. The Cove Merchants Association has brought together a fun line up of local vendors, food trucks, and side events such as the “Bed & Bathtub Race” and a shrimp eating contest. “A new addition to this year’s event will be the Pink Ribbon Challenge Course, an obstacle-style course allowing “Survivors” an opportunity to compete.”
The walk will take participants through some of the Port’s waterfront areas and finish at The Cove; to participate, there is a $20 donation per walker. “The funds raised from the event will stay in Brevard County to aid patients undergoing treatment, educating the public and for Cancer research through Space Coast Cancer Foundation.”
