Starting at 9:36 PM, the entirety of North and South America and western parts of Europe and Africa will be able to watch a total lunar eclipse. A total lunar eclipse is when the moon appears darkened as it passes into the earth’s shadow. At 12:12 AM, the eclipse will be in its maximum stage, which will make the moon blood red. The eclipse coincides with January’s full moon, also known as the Full Snow Moon. This will be a great event to watch while relaxing on our Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beaches.
For more information about the eclipse, visit the Time And Date website. If you are planning to visit the Space Coast and are in need of accommodations, give us a call at (321)-784-5046 or e-mail us at [email protected]!
