This Father’s Day weekend, SpaceX will be launching a Falcon 9 rocket on a mission to put Bulgaria’s first communications satellite in orbit. The launch is currently scheduled for 2:10pm on Saturday, June 17 with a two hour launch window. SpaceX will be attempting to land the re-usable first stage on an autonomous drone ship offshore. This mission will be carried out by a “flight-proven” or re-used first stage booster. The weekend weather forecast indicates scattered storms into the afternoon.
