Big Events Line-Up for First Weekend In June

June is here and is off to a busy start with numerous events slated for June 2nd through the 4th. Get started with some great Barbecue at Cocoa Village’s BBQ & Blues, which opens at 4:30pm on Friday, June 2nd and continues on Saturday. If you can’t make it out for some delicious BBQ, don’t fret, Cocoa Beach Uncorked will be at Shepard Park on June 3rd and 4th with a variety of culinary offerings.

If enjoying the sun, sand, and waves is more your speed, the International Palms Resort will be hosting this year’s Waterman’s Challenge, sponsored by the Florida Surf Museum. Watch the competition’s surfing heats June 2nd through June 4th.

The weekend weather forecast does indicate morning storms, so be sure to pack an umbrella and stay indoors in the event of lightning.
