This Sunday, the United Launch Alliance’s (ULA) Atlas V rocket will light up the Space Coast. The launch is currently schedule for just before 1:30p.m. on Sunday, December 18. Spectators will want to keep their umbrellas handy as the forecast Sunday indicates a possibility for rain or afternoon storms. Weather permitting, the launch will carry an EchoStar19 communications satellite to orbit to bring improved internet to rural and remote areas, and will be ULA’s final launch for 2016.
