For the month of November, Brevard County residents can receive 70% off general admission to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Admission includes the Kennedy Space Center Tour featuring the Apollo/Saturn V Center, the Rocket Garden, the new Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, and more. The annual 30 Days of Giving food drive benefits the Brevard Sharing Centers and local food banks, which provide assistance to those in need. “Due to the kindness and generosity of others, area sharing centers are able to provide more than 25,000 pounds of food to 900 individuals and families a month. In August 2014 alone, the sharing centers provided food to thousands of families.” Residents can receive the discounted rate by bringing proof of Brevard County residency (a driver’s license or utility bill) and a donation of canned goods and non-perishable food items.
